Usha supports the delivery of our women in leadership project in Assam, India, and is specialised in community mobilisation and gender-based training.

Usha’s expertise spans gender inclusion, action-based research, and social safeguard compliance. She has has extensive experience with organisations focused on women’s rights and agri-business projects, working with marginalised farmers’ collectives. She also holds a Masters in Community Organisation and Development Practices from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Guwahati.

At ETP, Usha aims to address issues faced by women in tea communities, fostering leadership and positive change.
