Thompson’s Tea joins ETP to improve the tea sector

ETP, the global organisation catalysing systemic change in tea, is pleased to announce the newest addition to its global membership – Thompson’s Tea, the family behind Northern Ireland’s best-selling tea, Punjana.

Thompson’s Tea officially joined ETP at the end of 2023, signifying a commitment to advancing its sustainable practices, ethical sourcing, and social responsibility across its value chain.

The inclusion of Thompson’s Tea into ETP’s global membership underscores a shared commitment to address the complex systemic issues that the tea sector faces.

ETP believes businesses have the power to be a force for good. Its members include a range of tea companies, from start-ups to multi-nationals. ETP convenes and facilitates collaboration between communities on the ground, its members, businesses, governments, and civil society, enabling ETP to mobilise its resources and deliver its transformational Strategy2030.
